Evading Arrest & Drug Possession Arrests Tops Monday's Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – 14 Suspects were arrested on Monday in Tom Green County.

The San Angelo Police Department, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety made 14 arrests over the weekend including the following:

  • Devan Gamez was arrested for aggravated assault with a public servant and assault by contact at 1:33 a.m. His bond was set at $100,512.
  • Michael McMeekin was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrested, and a MISC parole violation at 6:37 p.m. His bond was set at $20,000.
  • James Contreras was arrested for GJI evading arrest, RPR DWLI with a previous conviction, three MISC CPF, and one MISC FTA at 9:14 a.m. His bond was set at $502.

There are currently 533 inmates at the TGCDF as of Monday morning.

The following were booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Monday:

  • Joseph Schoberg was arrested for public intoxication at 12:39 a.m. His bond was set at $462 and he was released at 7:28 a.m.

  • Devan Gamez was arrested for aggravated assault with a public servant and assault by contact at 1:33 a.m. His bond was set at $100,512.
  • Brandon Thomas was arrested for GJI sexual assault of a child at 7:01 a.m. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was released at 10:58 a.m.
  • James Contreras was arrested for GJI evading arrest, RPR DWLI with a previous conviction, three MISC CPF, and one MISC FTA at 9:14 a.m. His bond was set at $502.
  • Michael Martin was arrested for 10 MISC CPF and one MISC FTA at 10:41 a.m. His bond was set at $502.
  • Cade Brown was arrested for possession of marijuana at 11:28 a.m. He was released without bond at 4:28 p.m.
  • Joe Reyes was arrested for a MISC parole violation at 1:51 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time.
  • Jared Parent was arrested for J/N possession of a controlled substance at 2:01 p.m. His bond was set at $20,000. 
  • Jeanette Martinez was jailed for COMM theft of property at 2:46 p.m. She was released at 5:28 p.m.
  • Rebecca Doan was jailed for COMM possession of marijuana at 3:52 p.m. She was released at 6:13 p.m.
  • Benito Guerrero was arrested for seven MISC CPF at 4:33 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time.
  • Michael Gonzalez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at 6:21 p.m. His bond was set at $45,000.
  • Justin Malloy was arrested for expired DL, expired registration, failure to display DL, no proof of financial responsibility, speeding, and seven MISC VPTA at 6:33 p.m. His bond was set at $8,852 and he was released the following day at 7:43 a.m.
  • Michael McMeekin was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrested, and a MISC parole violation at 6:37 p.m. His bond was set at $20,000.
