Teen Accused of Being Intimate with Minor Girl

SAN ANGELO, TX – A 19-year-old was arrested in Tom Green County over the weekend after a grand jury claimed he sexually assaulted a young girl.

According to court documents, on Jan. 6, a Tom Green County Grand Jury indicted 19-year-old Brandon Thomas of Plainview on one count of sexual assault of a child.

The indictment claims that on or around Dec. 18, 2020 Thomas allegedly had sex with a child that was under the age of 17 years of age.

A warrant for Thomas' arrest was issued on Jan. 20 and he was arrested for the charge on Jan. 31.

He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail and released the same day after posting a $25,000 bond
