WATCH EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: San Angelo Police Take Dangerous Suspect into Custody

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo Police have apprehended a suspect in the standoff on Howard St. at Forest Park Thursday morning.

As we reported earlier, there was a heavy police presence at a house at that location.

Armed police officers can be seen surrounding the house and eventually took one individual into custody.

According to an SAPD Public Information Officer Richard Espinoza, Police were dispatched to the location around 1 a.m. for a domestic disturbance.  The suspect, 45-year-old Curtis Moore, was involved in an altercation with his mother.

Moore didn't cooperate with Police.  Later Thursday morning, Moore's father again called police saying Curtis was armed with a pistol and had fired at a neighboring residence.

Police made contact with Moore via cell phone.  There was a brief standoff.  Moore eventually came outside where he was taken into custody.  No one was injured.  The event is still under investigation and charges are pending.
