Suspect In Custody After Shooting Man In The Face

 

RANGER, TX –– A shooting suspect is behind bars after allegedly shooting a man in the face.

According to the Ranger Police Department, at approximately 12:22 a.m. on January 16th officers were dispatched to Pine Street for reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene they located a male victim with a gunshot in the face. He was transported to the  Eastland Memorial Hospital for treatment.

In collaboration with the Texas Rangers, investigators determined the shooting occurred on South Marston St –– just a few blocks away.

The preliminary investigation identified Dylan Miller as a suspect in the case. 

Law enforcement issued a warrant for Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon, and Miler eventually turned himself in to authorities.
