MIDLAND, TX – A Midland woman was arrested on Tuesday morning for a murder at the end of 2021.
According to the Midland County Sheriff's Office, on Jan. 11, Nereida Viscarra Garcia was arrested for the murder of Ivan Jose Ortiz-Costillo.
Ortiz-Costillo was murdered on Dec 27, 2021.
Garcia was also charged with tampering with physical evidence.
She remains in the Midland County Jail on a $1 million bond.
