Police Apprehend Dangerous Fugitive

SWEETWATER, TX –– A dangerous fugitive is behind bars according to the Sweetwater Police Department.

Last week, SPD issued a wanted notice for Nestor Jaramillo. According to the notice, Jaramillo was wanted for 

  • one count of Sexual Assault of a Child
  • two counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Exposure
  • two counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

Jaramillo was arrested by the Abilene Police Department after a citizen recognized his mugshot and told police about his whereabouts.

His bond has been set at $160,000.
