Police Searching for Violent & Dangerous Escaped Inmate

 

KERMIT, TX –– The Kermit Police Department is asking the public's help to locate a wanted fugitive who escaped on Thanksgiving Day.

According to KPD, Randy Garza "walked away from his trustee detail."

Garza is described as being 5'11", 180lbs, and having black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white lining, blues jeans, an orange t-shirt underneath, and red with black baseball cap. 

Garza's direction of travel is unknown at this time and police continue searching the area.

Anyone with information regarding Garza's location is asked to contact the Winkler County Sheriff's Office at 432-586-3461 or the Kermit Police Department at 432-586-2577.

Citizens are reminded to not attempt to apprehend Garza as he has a violent history of assaulting others. A $250 reward is being offered for information that leads to Garza's arrest.
