Grand Jury Indicts San Angelo Man for Lewd Acts with a Child

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo man was indicted in Oct. for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.

According to court documents, on Nov. 22, Christopher Lee Garcia Jr., 38, was arrested for a grand jury indictment for sexual assault of a child.

The indictment alleged that Garcia sexually assaulted a child under the age of 17 in Jul. 2016.

Garcia is currently in the Tom Green County Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.

If convicted, Garcia could face 2-20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
