Frat Boys Caught After Stealing Dinosaur Exhibits

CEDAR CREEK, TX – A University of Texas fraternity is facing serious consequences after university police discovered three stolen dinosaur exhibits that were missing from the Dinosaur Park at Cedar Creek.

According to the Dinosaur Park at Cedar Creek, on Oct. 21, three dinosaur exhibits, a Dimetrodon, Dilong, and a Minmi, were stolen from the park in the middle of the night.

The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office took over the investigation and after a week long search the dinos were discovered in a frat house in Austin. Two of them, Dilong and Dimetrodon, were extremely damaged and probably will not be repairable. Minmi survived the attack.

The Dinosaur Park was offering a $1,000 reward for information regarding the theft and has said they will be pressing charges. Facebook commenters have outed the frat as Sigma Phi Epsilon.

An Austin News Outlet claims that the group of young men walked through the park, evaded cameras, and somehow escaped with the three six-to-ten foot long dinosaur exhibits.
