ABILENE, TX –– Nearly thirty alleged sexual offenders were arrested after the Abilene Police Department conducted an online sting over the course of several days.
According to APD, detectives used a mutitiude of social media apps to contact the indiviudals while posing as an underage teen.
The men, who range from 24 to 70 years of age, sustained conversations with the "teen" and agreed to meet in person. They were arrested after showing up to the agreed location.
The men were charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor and Prostitution Under 18.
