SAN ANGELO, TX – Police are asking the public to avoid the area of FM 2105 and Fruitland Farm Rd. as a wanted suspect is on the loose.
According to reporters on scene, on Oct. 21 at around 1:15 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were involved in a chase with a motorcycle that ended near the intersection of FM 2105 and Fruitland Farm Rd.
Currently SAPD has a perimeter set up around the area.
Police are asking people to avoid the area as the suspect is still at-large. If you live in the area remain inside of your homes.
The San Angelo Police Department's K-9 unit has been called to the scene.
UPDATE 2:15 P.M.
The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety are now on scene assisting the police department in the manhunt.
Along with K-9s, long guns have been drawn by officers as they are unaware if the suspect is armed or not.
UPDATE 3:06 P.M.
After an hour and a half long search the suspect has been captured.
Law enforcement was able to catch the subject inside a trailer park on the 3300 block of Fruitland Farm Ct.
Neither the name of the suspect nor the reason why the chase took place is available at this time.
