EDINBURG, TX – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol (RGV) agents arrested two Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang members and an 18th Street gang member Thursday in the Rio Grande Valley.
On Oct. 20, Falfurrias Border Patrol Station (FLF) agents apprehended a group of 13 illegal immigrants near Encino. Record checks on one of the illegals from El Salvador revealed he is a MS-13 gang member and has pending charges for murder, fraud, and trespassing in New York.
Later that afternoon, FLF agents apprehended two more illegal aliens in the brush near Falfurrias. Record checks on one of those illegals from El Salvador revealed he is a MS-13 gang member and has a criminal arrest for murder in El Salvador.
Then in the evening, MCS agents apprehended a group of 61 illegal immigrants near Hidalgo. Record checks on one illegal from El Salvador revealed he is an 18th Street gang member. He was also apprehended and removed from the United States last month.
All subjects were processed accordingly.
