San Angelo Man Arrested After Threatening to Stab Woman over Laundry

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo Man has been arrested after he stole a female victim’s clothes out of an apartment complex’s laundry room.

Police were dispatched to Alamo Village Apartments, located at 401 Green Valley Trail, after a call for a subject with a deadly weapon. Police arrived and talked to the female victim.

The victim told police officers that a man she did not know had taken some of her clothing items from the apartment complex’s washer/dryer room. The victim confronted the male, who was identified as Jonathan Spiller, about the stolen clothes.

When confronted, Spiller dropped the clothing items and produced a knife threatening to stab the victim.

Police located Spiller a few blocks from the scene and the knife that was used in the incident was found inside Spiller’s backpack. The victim positively identified Spiller as the man who threatened to stab her.

Jonathan Spiller, 19, was arrested and booked into the TGCDF on Sunday, October 17, 2021, and currently has a $30,000.00 bond.
