Northside Predator Used Snapchat to Find Female Child Victims

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo child predator has been arrested again for using Snapchat to prey on several minor female children.

According to court documents, on Oct. 7, Esiah Castillo, 21, was arrested for indecency with a child by sexual contact after police found evidence of him molesting multiple children.

While he was in the Tom Green County Jail, Castillo identified to deputies several minor girls he had targeted to have sex with via snapchat. Castillo told the deputies how he lured one of his snapchat friends, a 13-year-old girl, into having sex with him at a park at Bradford Elementary School.

He was released from the Tom Green County Detention Facility on Oct. 9 after posting a $30,000 surety bond.

After learning information of the assault, the deputies went to speak with the parents of the 13-year-old victim. The mother told deputies that her daughter said that a male, only identified by a snapchat name, had sexually assaulted her.

The daughter was then interviewed on Oct. 14. She told deputies that she only knew Castillo through snapchat and that she had met him in person only once. On that occasion she was given ride by Castillo to Bradford Elementary where he proceeded to sexually assault her in his car.

Castillo was then arrested again for aggravated sexual assault of a child on Oct. 15. His bond was set at $100,000 and he was released the following day. Then, for the third time, Castillo was booked on additional charges into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for aggravated sexual assault of a child on Oct. 16.

He remains in the jail on a $200,000 bond.
