San Angelo Police Warn of Phone Scam Targeting Elderly

SAN ANGELO – The San Angelo Police department has received calls regarding scammers spoofing our dispatches phone number (325-657-4315) and calling elderly individuals demanding money from them.

We will NOT contact you requesting Green Dot money cards, Apple/Google play gift cards, or any other form of payment. These scammers will use scare tactics to try and make their victims pay large amounts of money for fake warrants or bail for loved ones.
