San Angelo Man Indicted for Continuous Abuse of A Child

 

SAN ANGELO,TX – John Barry Suksta has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in July for continuous sexual abuse of a child.

WARNING: The following story consists of disturbing details.

On March 12, 2021, a San Angelo police officer respond to a residence on Iowa Street for a sexual abuse report. A family member told the officer that a child made an outcry of being sexually abused by Suksta. The victim was eight years old at this time.

The victim told the family member that Suksta made the child perform masturbation on him in the restroom. 

The victim alleged that Suksta was preparing to get into the shower when he called the child into the bathroom. Once the victim was inside the bathroom, Suksta exposed himself, licked the child’s hand, and placed the child’s hand on his sex organ. The child was then forced to perform the sexual act on Suksta.

Investigators learned that Suksta performed oral sex on the child and that Suksta made the child victim lick his sexual organ.

The child victim also recounted an incident that was caught on video and had occurred on March 11th, 2021. Investigators viewed the video evidence and in the video Suksta and the victim are lying on the bed whispering to each other.

After whispering with each other, the victim would make contact with Suksta’s crotch over the clothing and Suksta made contact with the victim’s crotch once in the video.

The child victim talked about numerous times of being sexually abused since the age of 4.

Suksta was booked into jail on March 17, 2021 and was released on $150,000.00 bond the next day.
