San Angelo Perv Back in Jail After Refusing to Register

SAN ANGELO, TX – A known San Angelo sex offender was arrested on Friday for refusing to register as a sex offender.

According to court documents, on Jul. 30, Michael Harbour, 43, was arrested for a grand jury indictment for sex offenders duty to register annually and another charge for failing to annually register as a sex offender.

The indictment states that on Oct. 4, 2020, Michael Harbour failed to report a change of address within seven days of a change of address.

Harbour has been required to register as a sex offender since he was convicted of sexual assault of a child in 2002. Since then he has been arrested for multiple felonies including assaults and bail jumping.

Failing to register has increased his felony charge from a third degree felony to a habitual charge.

He is currently in the Tom Green County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
