Suspect Arrested In Big Spring Murder

BIG SPRING, TX – The Big Spring Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a Big Spring homicide.

According to authorities, 49-year-old Luis Hernadez Jr. has been charged with the murder of 46-year-old Maria Soto.

While the details concerning Soto's death have not been released at this time, investigators confirmed Wednesday Soto was found unresponsive at a home on the 1100 block of Lloyd St. at around 12:40 a.m.
