Hundreds More Illegal Alien Invaders Surged Across the Border Wednesday

RIO GRANDE CITY, TX – Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station (RGC) agents Wednesday encountered 251 illegal alien invaders in two large groups.

Wednesday morning, RGC agents encountered 110 invaders after they illegally entered the United States east of Rio Grande City.  The group consisted of 94 family members and 16 single adults. The illegal aliens are from Central America.

About an hour later, RGC agents encountered another large group of invaders who illegally entered the United States just west of Roma. This group consisted of 65 family members and 76 single adults.  Agents determined the illegals are citizens of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Ecuador.

Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) agents continues to experience an influx of illegal alien invaders crossing daily into the United States. Unlike previous large groups seen by RGV agents, neither group had a single unaccompanied minor and one group had more single adults than family members.  This is uncommon, as most, if not all of the large groups encountered this fiscal year have been primarily family members and unaccompanied minors, with a very small fraction being single adults.

Border Patrol processed the subjects accordingly.
