Details Emerge in Dangerous Hit-and-Run Downtown

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department has released more information regarding the crash that occurred Wednesday morning in front of the Stephens Central Library.

As previously reported, on Jul. 14 at around 10:02 a.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Beauregard and Irving for the report of a major crash involving a car and a pedestrian. SAPD's public information officer released more information to San Angelo LIVE! at around 1:50 p.m. confirming that a 17-year-old females was struck by a white 4-door passenger car. 

The teen was transported to the hospital but sustained minor injuries.

Officer Burks stated that the vehicle might have damage to the front right fender of the vehicle. She also confirmed that the investigating officers were in the process of obtaining surveillance video of the scene.
