High School Principal Charged With A Inappropriate Relationship With Student

 

STANTON, TX – The Martin County Sheriff's Office has confirmed a Stanton ISD principal was arrested in connection to an inappropriate relationship with a student.

According to MCSO, back in May, the office received a report claiming an employee with the school district engaging in inappropriate conduct with a student.

During the course of an investigation, authorities identified the suspect as 40-year-old Justin Matthew Turney. He is currently is listed as the principal for Stanton High School.

Turney was subsequently indicted by a grand jury and charged with one count of Indecency with a child and one count of having an inappropriate relationship between educator and student.

He was subsequently booked into the Martin County Jail.
