Terlingua Perv Sentenced to Decades in Prison

MIDLAND,TX – A Terlingua man has been sentenced for 40 years in prison for running a website that shared stories depicting sexual abuse of children.

Thomas Alan Arthur, 65, appeared before a Midland judge on Tuesday and was sentenced to serve 40 years in prison.

The website Arthur was operating, Mr. Double, contained stories about children, infants, and toddlers being tortured, raped, and murdered. Arthur oversaw submitted stories and approved them to the site. Some of the stories had drawings of children engaged in sexual activity.

This website was Arthur’s only income for 20 years until the FBI executed a search warrant of his home.

Last year, Arthur was convicted on three counts of trafficking lewd images, five counts on obscene text referring to the sexual abuse of children, and one count of selling obscene material that involved the sexual abuse of a child.

Additionally,  Arthur sexually assaulted two women who came forward.

In 1992, Arthur drugged an adult female, sexually assaulted her, and recorded the assault. Also, in the 1980’s Arthur molested a child who was approximately five years old and the daughter of a friend and business associate.
