Tip to Sheriff's Office Leads to Capture of Two Illegal Aliens

ALPINE,TX- Brewster County Sheriff Rodney Dodson said a tip led to a sting operation about young illegal immigrant girls in an Alpine hotel.

The sheriff’s office received an anonymous tip that the girls, all of whom are younger than 16, were to be taken to the Dallas/Fort Worth area through Odessa.

They raided the OYO Hotel and did not find the girls or any children.

According to the sheriff, they missed the girls by a few hours.

They may have missed the girls but they did catch two illegal aliens who were part of the same group. They were turned over to Border Patrol.

Sheriff Dodson is working with Homeland Security on the investigation.
