Police Identify Teen Killed in Deadly Shooting

LUBBOCK,TX- The teenager that was shot and killed at a Lubbock apartment complex has been identified.

Last night around 11:30 p.m, Lubbock PD responded to a shooting at Ella Apartments on 58th Street. When police arrived, they found Dequavion Traylor with life threatening gunshot wounds. 

Traylor was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. He was 14 years old.

According to the LPD press release, investigators believe a fight escalated to a shooting.
