ODESSA, TX -- The Odessa Police Department has confirmed a 16-year-old has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday night.
According to the OPD, officers were dispatched to 8001 Brownstone Road shortly after 8:00 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found 22-year-old Joshua Holbert with multiple gunshot wounds. Holbert was deceased by the time police arrived.
The subsequent investigation revealed the unidentified teen fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. He was located on Monday morning and charged with murder, a first-degree felony.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been confirmed by the police.
