SAN ANGELO,TX – Angel Barrientos has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in May for abandoning or endangering a child – criminal negligence in January 2021.
On January 21st, 2021, a state trooper conducted a traffic stop on two Dodge Challengers traveling at 130 MPH.
The trooper asked both drivers to step out to which both of them complied. Barrientos and the other driver both admitted to racing on Loop 306.
Both Barrientos and the other driver were placed under arrest for racing on the highway. It was then discovered that Barrientos had two passengers in his vehicle both under the age of 15.
Angel Barrientos was booked into the TGCDF on 2/5/2021 and was released the next day on $10,000.00 bond.
