Ector County Man Behind Bars After Assaulting Child

 

ODESSA, TX – An Ector County man is behind bars after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy.

According to court documents,  Dominic Amador began assaulting the child back in 2019 when he was only 12-years-old.

The abuse continued for two years.

When Amador was initially questioned by the Ector County Sheriff’s Office he claimed he didn't have any sexual contact with a minor.

During a follow-up interview, Amador admitted he had sexually assaulted the victim at least once.

Amador was charged with a first-degree felony, continuous sexual abuse of a child. His bond was set at $100,000.
