SAN ANGELO,TX – Michael Brandon Curry has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in May 2021 for SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD and AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD occurring in May of 2010.
According to court filings, San Angelo police were investigating an aggravated sexual assault of a child case involving Michael Curry back in May of 2010.
According to documents, a forensic interview with the victim was conducted on January 4th, 2021, and concluded that the victim was 14 at the time of the assault.
The victim made an outcry of being assaulted to a witness on December 28, 2020, and stated that Curry had sexually assaulted her numerous times. Both witnesses told police that the victim had revealed to both of them that she had been assaulted.
Documents show two different times Curry sexually assaulted the underage victim and after the second time one witness took the victim to the Shannon Emergency Room.
During a controlled call, Curry said there were times where he would wake up and the victim would be initiating sexual acts. Curry also says he took the victim and witness to the emergency room and did not want medical personnel examining the victim's sexual organ.
According to Discord, a social media application and website, the officer reviewed one conversation between Curry and the victim in which Curry asked her “8==D later tonight?.
Michael Brandon Curry was booked into the TGCDF on January 6th, 2021 and was released on May 19th, 2021 on $50,000 bond.
