Two People Injured in Weekend Shooting

SNYDER, TX – The Snyder Police Department has confirmed two people were injured in a Friday afternoon shooting.

According to SPD, the shooting occurred around 2:16 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene they located two victims – a 41-year-old male and a 19-year-old female. They had both suffered gunshot wounds.

After the preliminary investigation, officers with the Snyder Police Department arrested a 21-year-old male in connection to the shooting. He has been charged with Aggravated assault.
