MIDLAND, TX – A Midland man is dead after a club fight turned fatal early Sunday morning.
According to the Midland Police Department, an argument took place at Club Arriba shortly after 1:00 a.m.
The fight continued into the parking lot where the suspect, who has not been identified, stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he would ultimately succumb to his injuries.
With the help of a Crime Stoppers tip, authorities apprehended the suspect and he was taken into custody. According to police, he confessed to the crime.
The identities of the suspect and victim will be released once the next of kin is notified.
