San Angelo Man Indicted for Shooting a Woman

 

SAN ANGLEO, TX- Jonathan Lorenzo Candela has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in April for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon.

According to documents, in Dec. of 2020 Candela an unidentified woman were arguing in his vehicle in a downtown San Angelo parking lot when he slammed a pistol into the center console of the vehicle in a reckless manner and the weapon discharged striking the victim in the hip.

The indictment reads that Candela did knowingly and recklessly cause serious bodily harm to the victim by shooting her in the leg.

Candela was booked on December 20, 2020 and posted a $30,000 bond on December 28th. Candela is not currently an inmate at the TGCDF.
