Woman Threatens Her Husband with a Gun and a Knife During a Fight

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Wall woman was arrested Wednesday after deputies say she attempted to stab and shoot her husband.

According to court documents, on May 5, a deputy with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office was on a normal patrol when he got a call for a welfare concern at the 4500 block of US Highway 87.

The caller told dispatch that Kandra Fuchs, 38, had been assaulted by her husband. When the deputy arrived he spoke with the two and learned that they had been arguing.

During the argument Mrs. Fuchs punched her husband in the face and then brandished a firearm and a knife. While she had the weapons she pointed them at Mr. Fuchs and said that she would kill him.

The victim told deputies that he was unsure if she would follow up with the threat.

She was then arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Mrs. Fuchs was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility at 2:24 a.m. and was released the following day at 1:58 p.m. on a $40,000 bond.
