CISCO, TX – A 23-year-old Cisco man was taken into custody on Thursday after he was allegedly found in possession of child pornography.
According to law enforcement, officers with the Abilene Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division, and the Cisco Police Department searched the home of Sergio Nunez.
When the Abilene Police SWAT Team entered the home, multiple individuals were detained and questioned.
During the search, officers seized multiple computers, cell phones, and other devices. Drug paraphernalia was also found inside the home.
After the search was completed, Nuex was transported and booked into the Eastland County Jail.
At this time Nunez has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography.
According to Chief Preston, further charges may be pending after the devices are forensically examined.
“This is just another step taken toward protecting the children of our communities," said Chief Preston.
