AMBER ALERT: Child Abducted by Registered Sex Offender

 

RAINS COUNTY, TX – An amber alert was issued Monday for the 14-year-old girl who was kidnapped last Wednesday.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, on Mar. 24, Lexus Nichole Gray, 14, was taken by her estranged father, Justin Shaun Gray, who is a registered sex offender.

Lexus was kidnapped Wednesday after Gray attacked the girl's mother with a knife. 

Lexus is around 5'6" and weighs 160 pounds. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Gray is a registered sex offender, who “is known to be dangerous and wanted,” according to the Rains County Sheriff’s Office. Gray is about 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, and has black hair and hazel eyes.

Gray was convicted of sexually assaulting a sixteen year old girl in 2009.
