San Angelo Woman Indicted for Possession of Jazz Cabbage

 

SAN ANGELO,TX – Krystal Monique Mendez was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in March 2021 for possession of marijuana >4G<=5LBS.

According to court documents on January 1st, 2020, a San Angelo police officer executed a traffic stop after observing Mendez operating her vehicle without insurance. The officer asked for her license and dispatch confirmed that her license was suspended.

The officer then noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Mendez told the officer she did have marijuana inside the vehicle. A gallon ziplock bag with 8.4 OZ of marijuana was found behind the driver seat.

Mendez was booked on January 2nd, 2020 and is not currently an inmate at the TGCDF.
