Sheriff's Office Operation Nets Meth, Weed and Arrests

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Investigators with the Tom Green County Sheriff's office conducted a field operation Tuesday resulting in felony arrests.  

On March 16, 2021 members of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division, Patrol Division, and Warrants Division conducted a field operation within Tom Green County which resulted in the execution of three felony warrants.  Additionally, three new felony charges and one new misdemeanor charge were filed.  A firearm, and more than thirty grams of suspected methamphetamine were seized.

Randy Sutton, 29, of San Angelo was charged with: 
Unlawful Possession of Firearm  by Felon
Possession Controlled Substance PG 1 >=4 <200G
Unauthorized use of Vehicle (GOB Warrant)
Evading arrest detention w/ previous conviction (GOB warrant)

Mario Dehoyos, 32, of Carlsbad was charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >=1G<4G
Possession of Marijuana <2OZ
Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1<1G (GJI Warrant)

Sutton and Dehoyos were transported to Tom Green County Jail and booked without incident.  An investigation is still ongoing and future arrests may be forthcoming.
