SAN ANGELO,TX – Jeremy Keith Matzek has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age in February 2021.
On October 30th, 2020, Matzek was involved in a verbal altercation and then placed his children into his vehicle.
Once police officers were with Matzek they detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages coming from his breath and person.
Matzek admitted to having drinks earlier that night.
Field sobriety tests were voluntarily performed and based on clues and the information gathered Matzek was arrested.
Jeremy Matzek was booked into the TGCDF on October 30th, 2020 and posted bond the next day. Matzek is not currently an inmate at the detention facility.
Matzek is due in court for a pre-trial hearing on April 6th,2021 and his trial is set for July 19th, 2021.
