SAN ANGELO, TX – Lionel Munoz has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in February on unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, aggravated kidnapping bodily injury/sexual abuse, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
One Oct. 22, 2020, San Angelo Police met with a victim who reported being kidnapped the day before (10/21/2020).
According to court documents the victim stated that they were outside a residence smoking a cigarette when Munoz drove up in a red sedan. Munoz then ran towards her, grabbed and placed a knife to her throat. He then forced the victim into the vehicle and drove to his residence. He then binded the victim to a metal chair with zip ties.
Munoz accused and intimidated the victim while she was bound to the chair and then Munoz pointed a handgun to her head. Munoz at some point took the victim to the bedroom and raped her. Due to being threatened with a knife and handgun, which were on the bedside table, she complied with Munoz.
The next day, the victim told Munoz she needed to go to work and he called for a ride. The victim was taken to her residence by an unknown female while Munoz accompanied them. Upon arriving at the residence, Munoz followed the victim into the house and continued to threaten to kill her if she told anyone.
When the victim went to leave for work, Munoz refused to give her vehicle to her and drove off with it without consent.
The victim called law enforcement when she arrived at work.
On Oct. 22, 2020, a search warrant was executed at Munoz’s residence where zip ties and a metal chair were located. Injuries to the victim were consistent with her retelling of the events.
Lionel Munoz was booked on Oct. 22, 2020 and was released on a personal recognisance bond.

This fiend needs to be put away for the rest of his life. Or executed. I vote for the latter....
