Fifth Suspect Arrested In New Year's Eve Murder

 

ABILENE, TX – A fifth suspect has been arrested in connection to a 2019 New Year's Eve murder in Abilene.

David Devora, 20, was killed on December 31st after four suspects robbed him to obtain bail money for a friend.

According to police reports and court documents,  Devora was watching tv with friends when the suspects knocked on the door. Before he could answer the door one of the suspects shot through the door and Devora was killed.

Days after the shooting, the Abilene Police Department arrested four people believed to be involved and investigated a fifth person of interest.

The following teenagers were arrested less than a week after the shooting.

  • Creshawn Dupro Howard -- Alleged Shooter
  • Rodaeshia Winter Hines -- Getaway driver
  • Tyree Tyshawn Neal
  • Michael Aaron Wright-Collazo

More than a year later the Abilene Police Department confirmed they have arrested 20-year-old  Isaiah Xavien Arredondo. He has been charged with murder.
