Teen Arrested In Connection to Fatal Shooting of a Minor

ODESSA, TX – Even as West Texas experiences bitterly cold temperatures, crime doesn't stay away for long.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office confirmed deputies located the body of a 14-year-old boy on Tuesday night.

According to enforcement, the victim was identified as Fabian Reyna. Deputies located Reyna's body near FM 1936 and West 42nd street.

Reyna appeared to have suffered from a fatal gunshot wound.

On Wednesday morning, the sheriff's office confirmed a 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection to the case.

At this time it is unknown what charges he may face.
