Suspect Uses Fake Gun to Rob Convenience Store

ABILENE, TX – A 45-year-old Abilene man has been arrested after he used a fake gun to rob a convenience store.

According to APD, Agapito Antonio Espino "crafted a fake gun" and entered Diamond Convenience Store in Abilene Saturday afternoon.

He demanded money from the clerk and took off with the cash.

After he was arrested, Espino confessed to making the weapon and robbing the store.
