SAN ANGELO, TX – A Tom Green County grand jury indicted a San Angelo man for allegedly luring a group of children into his hotel room and sexually assaulting one of them.
According to court documents, on Nov. 29, 2020 an officer with the San Angelo Police Department was dispatched to a residence where a child had made an outcry that the child was sexually assaulted by an adult at the Motel 6 in San Angelo.
During the interview process the child stated that Adam Price, 29, of San Angelo, had invited the child and the child's friends to his room at the Motel 6 for drinks, card games, and board games.
While in the room, Price allegedly forced the child into the restroom, pulled her to the floor, and sexually assaulted her.
Police then spoke with Price and he admitted that he had rented the room at the Motel 6 to have drinks and to entertain friends on that Saturday night. He told officers that the child was there but denied any sexual encounters.
He finished by telling officers that he had a lot to drink that night and had spots in the night he couldn't remember.
"Whatever happened was not forced," was the final words written in the affidavit regarding what Price told officers.
Price was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Nov. 29 and remains in the jail on a $165,000 bond.
Price was indicted for the three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child on Jan. 7.
