STERLING CITY, TX – The Department of Public Safety announced on Friday that a Trooper and his K-9 seized nine pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
According to the DPS, on Jan. 21, a trooper with the DPS was patrolling on US Hwy 87 N. near Sterling City when he observed a vehicle that was speeding.
The trooper initiated a traffic stop for the speed violation.
The stop resulted in the discovery of nine pounds of methamphetamine, after K-9 Loko alerted to the vehicle.
It unclear who was arrested during the stop.
