Police: Clerk Assaulted By Liquor Store Thieves

ABILENE, TX – A clerk faced a dangerous situation after two men attempted to steal liquor from Big Country Beer Wine + Tobacco.

The men entered the liquor store, located on North 1st Street, around 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

According to the Abilene Police Department, when the clerk attempted to stop the men, the clerk was assaulted.

The suspects remain at large.
