Texas Teen Arrested for Beating His Mother to Death

MCKINNEY, TX – Authorities have arrested a 15-year-old McKinney boy for the brutal beating death of his mother. 

According to reports, the juvenile's father called police around 1 a.m. Sunday where they found 50-year-old Stacy Ellen Barney deceased.  Police say the attack was caught on home security video. 

Police found the teen while searching the area.  Authorities have not released details of the attack or a possible motive.  

McKinney is north of Dallas in the metroplex.
