Home Land Security Agent from Detroit Catches San Angelo Child Predator

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Homeland Security Special Agent from Detroit recently helped catch a child predator in San Angelo.

According to court documents, on Dec. 1, special agents with the Homeland Security Office in Detroit, Michigan, contacted the Homeland Security Office in San Angelo regarding a possible child predator that was in San Angelo.

The agents claimed that Justin Del Rio, 28, was using the social media app, Kik, to distribute child pornography.

On Kik, Del Rio or Justback92, allegedly shared files that contained images and videos of a young hispanic female between the age of 11-14 sleeping. In these images, a person can be seen moving the underwear off of her genitals.

Another set of images and videos depict the child naked in the bathroom. The affidavit states that the camera appeared to be placed surreptitiously in the bathroom. Meaning authorities believe he hid the phone in the bathroom.

Del Rio was then located and taken to the HSI office for a voluntary interview. Following his interview he was taken to the Tom Green County Jail and was charged with possession of child pornography.

His bond was set at $25,000 and he was released the following day.
