Suspect in 20th St. Murder Moved to Tom Green County

SAN ANGELO, TX — 31-year-old Abel Rueda, the suspect charged with murder in connection to the October 24, 2020, Juan Victorio Quintana Homicide investigation, has been transferred to the Tom Green County Jail.

As we reported earlier, Rueda is being held in the Tom Green County Jail without bond.

Investigators obtained a warrant of arrest for Rueda in early November. Rueda has been incarcerated at the Howard County Jail on unrelated charges until today’s transfer.

Here is our original story about the murder.

Police are still searching for Rueda’s girlfriend, 29-year-old Wendy McCluskey, who is needed for questioning. McCluskey currently has an out-of-county warrant of arrest for Tampering with Evidence. McCluskey has ties to San Angelo, Midland, Odessa, Big Springs, and Andrews, Texas.

If you have any information about McCluskey’s whereabouts, please call the Crime Stoppers 24/7 Anonymous Tip Hotline at (325) 658-HELP (4357) or download Crime Stoppers P3 Tips App.
