Juveniles Involved In Thursday Night Crime Spree

 

ODESSA, TX -- The Odessa Police Department has confirmed two juveniles are in custody after the city experienced a string of crimes.

According to OPD, the first incident regarding the juveniles was reported at around 10:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Gila Road for reports of a gunshot victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The second call came in at 10:50 p.m. for reports of a robbery at Grant and Clements. Police confirmed the no one was injured.

At 10:51 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Chaparral Apartments for reports of shots fired. 

A victim at the scene told law enforcement they were shot at after confronting two individuals who were attempting to break into their vehicle. The victim was not injured in the shooting.

Two hours later officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of West 10th Street regarding a call for a home invasion. No one was hurt in the home.

OPD believed all the crimes were connected and have confirmed the arrested juveniles were involved.
