CAPTURED: Accused Terrorist Found Walking Down Interstate

EASTLAND, TX – The man accused of threatening the entire Ranger Police Department has been captured.

As previously reported, on Nov. 4, a warrant was issued for 35-year-old Edward Scott Allen for Terroristic Threat. Here is the original story: Accused Terrorist Wanted for Threatening Officers

The reason for the warrant was Allen posted a number of threats on Facebook towards the Ranger Police Department. Posts included "When I see them, they will disappear", "I'll off a pig", and "My old lady left me so I want to make an example out of RPD."

Authorities found Allen after a dispatch received a call about a man walking down I-20 near Eastland.

The Ranger Police Department encouraged Allen to turn himself in but regardless Allen is now behind bars.

"Let it be known that we at Ranger PD take threats against our officers and families seriously and will not tolerate it," stated the Ranger Police Department on Facebook. "We encourage Edward Allen to turn himself in."

Allen is charged with terroristic threat.
