Suspect Who Cut Infant Out of Woman's Womb Arrested

 

NEW BOSTON, TX – Police have now identified the suspect who is accused of killing a pregnant woman and her baby by cutting the infant out of her womb. 

As previously reported, on Oct. 12, officers with the New Boston Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of Austin St for the report of a dead body. Later that day a hospital in Isabel, OK reported receiving an infant patient who was premature and did not belong to the person who brought it in. This happened to be the child who was cut out of the woman. The baby later died in the hospital. 

Police have now identified the woman as 27-year-old Taylor Parker of Simms. She is charged with kidnapping and murder of an unborn child. She was arrested and placed in the Idabel, OK but has since waived extradition and is being moved back to Bowie county. 

Police have also identified the mother that died as 21-year-old Reagan Simmons-Hancock. She was eight months pregnant the time of the attack.
